| At Visions In Wood, we have dealt with the many pitfalls of ordering online, or from a catalog. We have received purchases that were not in the condition we might have hoped. We recognize that this sort of hassle is part of doing business in this modern world. Our goal, however, is to reduce this reality as much as is possible. Visions In Wood prides itself on its Shipping Department. We have carefully studied, analyzed and reviewed the aspects of packaging our merchandise and have conceived of ways of unifying these concepts. Each of our pieces is packed with care, for every individual customer. We know what it takes for a piece to reach you intact and undamaged and we take the extra precautions to ensure that it does. At Visions In Wood, we strive always to be environmentally friendly. To this end, most of the packaging material, (approximately 90%), we use is donated to us from other businesses. By utilizing their surplus supplies and unused materials, we help to reduce our carbon footprint, while, at the same time, protect our furniture during transit. We encourage you to reuse the packing material from your Visions In Wood purchase, in any way you can! Please feel free to notify us of any unique uses you have found for these materials. If you, or your employer, regularly throws out, or has a surplus of packaging materials, such as bubble wrap, heavy paper, or plastic wrapping, feel free to let us know. We would love to put it to good use! (Please note, we have no need for Styrofoam peanuts, or materials that are badly soiled, stained, or otherwise corrupted.) |
